HNG
Animal studies onlyAlmost all the research is in animals. We do not know if the same thing happens in people.
Also called Humanin G / S14G-Humanin
A lab-altered version of Humanin, studied in animals for metabolism and brain protection.
The basics
- What is it?
- HNG is Humanin with one amino acid swapped (serine 14 to glycine), which makes it more active in animal studies. It is a variant of Humanin — see the Humanin page for the natural form.
Can a doctor prescribe this?

Doses used in research
Taken word for word from the studies and trials listed on this page. This is not a recommendation and not a dose for anyone to take.
In animal studies
These are doses given to animals, usually per kilogram of body weight. They do not convert directly to a human dose.
